To all appearances a bard of Mondstadt, his true identity is Barbatos, the Anemo Archon who has protected Mondstadt for three thousand years. He is free-spirited and carefree, loves wine like life itself, and always has “Ehe” on his lips. Though he seems to spend his days idling, he quietly guards Mondstadt’s “freedom” in his own gentle way — just as his classic line goes: “If you are trapped in a land without wind, I will play the song of the high skies.”
