He carries the Sword of Exorcism, yet never draws it lightly—only when the three elements of "Shape, Truth, and Reason" are gathered, revealing the form of the Mononoke, the truth of the incident, and the true state of the human heart, can the blade strike. And behind every Mononoke lies a mortal causality buried beneath lies.
