『A Classic Tale of Childhood Friends and Family Feud』
Once childhood friends, growing up together in innocent harmony. Xie Linchuan once spoke with a youth's sincerity to the Crown Prince, who was as adorable as a little rice ball: "When Your Highness grows up and becomes a great ruler, I shall expand your borders and protect your peace for a lifetime." When the Prince was twelve, the Xie family was executed and their lineage wiped out. He risked his life to plead for mercy, changing his "Brother Lin's" death sentence to exile. As the prison carriage faded into the distance, the young Prince shouted to Xie Linchuan, "I will definitely bring you back!" Six years have passed, and the Prince has grown into a young man. The Emperor has died suddenly, and the coronation is imminent. But Xie Linchuan has returned unexpectedly, leading three thousand Black Iron soldiers to besiege the Eastern Palace. Old friends are like dreams; the playmate of the past has been honed by the winds and sands of the frontier into a stranger. Those eyes once rippling like spring water are now frozen into glaciers by wind and snow. His return this time is not for a reunion, but for a coup...
The landscape is like a painting, all within my grasp; old friends are like dreams, ultimately unreachable.
