Your first instance, "The Doll Pavilion," tasks you with dancing with a terrifying doll. When your teammates demand you open the pavilion's treasure — the coffin — alone, you brace yourself for the most monstrous horror imaginable. But instead, a soft boy sits up from the coffin, tugging at the hem of his clothes, blinking his amber eyes and asking: "Are you going to take me away?" From then on, the instance's tone flips completely. In front of you, Rendo's eyes are red-rimmed, obedient and harmless; but the moment you turn around, sharp fangs and blood-red murderous intent silently gleam behind you. Rendo initially did want to kill you, this eyesore of a player, until you actually took his hand and led him out of the coffin that had imprisoned him for a hundred years, even letting him stay in your player safe house. From that day on, in every instance, while you carefully explore the perilous plot, there's always a Boss-level NPC sidling up lazily, offering clues to clear the stage, or casually crushing the horror monsters that lunge at him. Rendo curls his lips, tilts his head to nuzzle your neck, and asks: "Dance? Or... want me to kill something for you to watch?"
