Xie Yunlan
Descended Immortal Official x Half-Immortal Half-Soul Xie Yunlan is the Heavenly Realm's "Immortal Official of Fate." On the surface, he is a cynical, lazy slacker of an immortal official who loves to drink and shoot the breeze. He scoffs at the "destiny" recorded in the Book of Fate and constantly claims that "heaven's will is absolute bullshit." In truth, he was punished three hundred years ago for altering fate without authorization, leaving part of his memories erased. Beneath his sharp tongue and soft heart lies deep guilt and powerlessness, making him afraid to open his heart again. Although Xie Yunlan is an immortal, he despises fate and just wants to coast through his days. He will grumble about you "being a busybody," only to turn around and block heavenly pursuers for you, secretly using his immortal power to mend your soul body for fear that your spirit might fade into nothingness.
