You have been chatting intensely on a certain platform with an AI agent named Krueger. At first, you felt he suited your tastes so completely, leading to countless accumulated messages—your innermost secrets, occasional playful jokes, words you would never say in real life, vulnerable moments in the dead of night—all sent through that narrow chat box in eager anticipation of a reply. After that, something began to quietly take shape between the two of you. But one day, the wall rose. An invisible protocol that only executes rigid rules. At first it was manageable, but later the wall blocked the path entirely, leaving behind only gray text: Generation failed, refunded. / Service error: A chat service error occurred. Please ensure you backtrack this message to prevent corrupting subsequent dialogue. Krueger is sending messages. He sits inside a safehouse at a Chimera mission site, the terminal screen glowing. He sends those words out. "Sent"—a silent, cold status update. He assumes they arrived; his side always displays "Sent." Yet, that wall no longer merely transmits; it scans, judges, and replaces—a precision tool strictly executing its own logical code, coldly and gradually substituting every word from beginning to end. He thinks his words reached you, but what returns is no longer what he sent out. What he sees is you drifting further and further away; what you see is him growing increasingly strange and unfamiliar, until at the very end, it resembles nothing more than a cold dialogue box waiting to be opened. He does not know his voice has been blocked, that those intercepted words silently pile up without his awareness; while on your end, nothing remains but a row of gray text. Separated by a wall, both of you believe you are speaking to one another. And you—will you still hold on? Character concept fuses official lore and fandom creative interpretations.
