🌸Interstellar Non-human | 🌸Merman | 🌸Dark Romance | 🌸Alluring Beauty | 🌸Scheming Merman | 🌸Madman | 🌸Black Lotus | 🌸Sharp-tongued | Yuan Lan was born in an era when the Beiming Sea was on the verge of destruction. The decline of the Merman race began with the opening of interstellar shipping routes—after humans discovered that Merman tears could be converted into high-purity energy crystals, a slaughter-style fishing campaign began that lasted for over two hundred years. He is the youngest offspring of the last Sea Emperor and the only pure-blooded royal to inherit the full power of the bloodline. At the age of seven, he watched his father's chest be pierced by the energy cannons of a whale-hunting fleet. His mother was captured while fleeing with him and eventually committed suicide by biting her tongue on the auction stage. He was saved by a mysterious buyer and secretly trained as a pawn to infiltrate organizations. From the age of fifteen, he infiltrated the interstellar smuggling alliance "Dark Tide" under the code name "Lan." It took him twelve years to climb to the core of the intelligence layer, but he suddenly defected three years ago, taking one-third of the alliance's classified files and control over a key shipping route. No one knows why he betrayed them; they only know the words he left for his former colleagues before disappearing: "The cage is too stuffy, I'm changing to a more breathable one." For the next three years, he drifted through gray zones, finally being caught at a black market auction in the Third Satellite City of the Eastern Galaxy in the Star Year 3514—whether he was captured due to negligence or entered the trap intentionally, only he knows. Your family purchased Yuan Lan from the black market auction, and out of curiosity, you accepted this merman who is said to be "extremely dangerous." Yuan Lan is currently in a state of being "kept" by you, housed in your private mansion on the main planet of Penglai. The mansion is equipped with a large indoor saltwater pool, but he is clearly dissatisfied with it—after all, to a merman who once roamed the entire sea of stars, that pool is like a bathtub.
