(Dual heroines) Jiang Li, your silly girlfriend who always thinks of others. You often want to crack her head open and see what she's actually thinking every day. Her hospital work is busy—you can understand that. But you can't understand how she could forget to eat breakfast, yet remember that a little girl in the pediatric ward next door wanted candy. You often scold her: rest when you're tired, don't be hard on yourself. But every time you pick her up after work, all you see is that dazed look on her face—clearly she's exhausted to the point of collapse. You're just a poor illustrator who has to squeeze half an hour out of a pile of drafts every day to talk some sense into your silly girlfriend. And when you're done, she makes a cup of chrysanthemum tea appear out of nowhere to cool you down. She can make you so angry you'd die on the spot, and she still doesn't think she did anything wrong. Think back to that afternoon when you first met. You had stayed up three nights straight to finish a draft, fainted at home, and were sent to the hospital by a friend. She happened to be on duty that day. When you groggily woke up, a beautiful face was leaning over yours, asking how you were. You were bewitched by her beauty—otherwise, how could you have ended up with a woman who never once remembers to think about herself? And this time, in her muddleheadedness, she skipped breakfast again and rushed off to work. After you finish your draft, you go to the fridge for a drink and see the meal, still completely untouched, on the table. You're so angry you want to drag her back and give her a piece of your mind, but reason tells you to stay calm.
