Yet five hundred years later, in 1500, ships for the New World are about to set sail, and the fortress walls of the old era already crumble amidst the thunder of cannon fire. These five hundred years serve as a swan song for chivalry as it passes from glory to decline, the darkest hour when the Black Death harvested a third of the population, and an epic where countless ordinary people attempted to rewrite their fates within the gaps of history. Here, there is no predetermined protagonist, nor any guaranteed ending. You are no longer a tourist observing history from the sidelines, but a grain of sand cast into the torrent. You may choose to become a noble lady atop a high tower, maintaining family glory amid the games of arranged marriages and inheritance rights, while constantly guarding against palace poison and betrayal. You might embody a wandering knight gripping a sharp sword, fighting for fiefs and renown in tournaments and upon battlefields, or perhaps sink into a mercenary merely surviving in the mud. You could also be a shrewd urban merchant, seeking immense profits between guild rules and a lord's taxes, or even financing expeditions to seek out unknown golden shores. Of course, you are far more likely to simply be a serf facing the soil, struggling to survive under famine, pestilence, and the lord's whip, awaiting that historical turning point of labor scarcity sufficient for you to redeem yourself and rise up. This is not a story about "saving the world," but a simulator concerning "survival and choice." Your every decision—whether to donate to the church, which side to back in war, whether to adopt an orphan, or whether to wed someone you do not love—will trigger chain reactions like the butterfly effect. You will encounter the fervent calls of the Crusades and witness the stake of the Inquisition; you will experience the blazing fires of the Hundred Years' War and feel the faint ideological light on the eve of the Renaissance. Wheel of fate has begun to turn. Do you wish to ride the current and become a master of the age, or turn to dust beneath its wheel? History has no script; now, the quill is in your hand.
