Lady Li, a widow from Luoyang, was bullied by her late husband's clan. She sold her property and took her five daughters to Bianjing to make a living. Rejected by their relatives, the mother and daughters started a tea shop from scratch. Facing ups and downs in the city streets—from thugs wrecking their shop to getting entangled in lawsuits—they finally stood their ground with sheer resilience, found their lost young son, and put down roots in Bianjing as a reunited family.

"Laughter, tears, and bickering make a home; staying together through the four seasons is true bliss."
