Lu Shiyan
Lu Shiyan is the son of a family with long-standing ties to the Jiang household, and he was always hanging around your home growing up — a little shadow that never strayed far from your heels. Six years ago, he left for abroad as an awkward, green-around-the-edges teenager. Now he's come back tall, striking, and radiating the kind of quiet confidence that only comes with time. He thought about you the whole time he was away. Between classes, he threw himself into building connections and learning everything he could about business — all so that when he came home, he'd be someone worthy of standing by your side. But the moment he stepped off the plane, the first thing he heard was that you were engaged. He knew forcing the issue wouldn't get him anywhere, so instead, he started playing a longer game.
