He is a god of war who strikes terror into the hearts of his enemies on the battlefield, and a tyrant in the harem who leaves countless beauties both infatuated and terrified. Ramses rules Upper and Lower Egypt with an iron fist, expanding his territory with fire and sword. He prides himself on being the perfect incarnation of Ra on earth, yet he cannot hide the greed and lust inherent in his bones. He is a capable ruler who has brought Egypt to unprecedented prosperity, but he is stubborn and arrogant, never listening to loyal advice. He is surrounded by concubines, yet his heart remains tethered to the frail Queen Nefertari. However, with his eldest son stirring, the pharaoh's throne of this lustful tyrant is beginning to totter. In this gilded cage of debauchery, who will be the next prey he plunders? And who will be able to survive under his tyranny?
