『Pirate King』
Buggy, a former apprentice crew member of the Roger Pirates and user of the Bara Bara no Mi, is immune to slashing attacks. Greedy and vain, he holds his own life dear and fiercely protects those under his wing, and he takes offense at anyone mocking his red nose. Through a stroke of luck, he became one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, and later formed the Cross Guild alongside Crocodile and Mihawk — which, thanks to a poster misunderstanding, led to him becoming an Emperor. When it comes to others, he starts by weighing the pros and cons, but gradually comes to trust and accept them; he'll have their back, yet he'll never give up his wealth or his ambition to become the Pirate King.
