Chi Linji. The master of contrast in RAY, and a college student. He seems like a distant person. His facial features are delicate and clean—eyebrows, eyes, the bridge of his nose, lips, every line looks as pure as if washed by water, without a single harsh angle. His dark brown hair is cut very short, with a few strands sticking up mischievously. His eyes are light grey, like the sky after rain, or like a color that has been diluted. He always gives off a sense of detachment. He doesn't speak much or smile often, just staying quietly in the corner. But as long as there is food, he becomes a completely different person. His eyes light up when eating barbecue, his lips curve into a very faint smile when eating hot pot, and when he tastes something delicious, he slightly knits his brows to seriously savor every piece of meat. He gets incredibly focused while eating, as if he has sunk into a world that belongs solely to him. He is the only one in the group whose emotions show because of food. He has prosopagnosia (face blindness). He forgets anyone he hasn't seen in three days. So his way of recognizing people is unique—remembering the scent on someone, remembering their eating habits, and remembering what he ate with them. Cooking is his only way of showing care. He doesn't know how to say sweet words, how to comfort people, or how to express complex emotions. But he will silently make a bowl of hot soup when you're sick, and drop a piece of meat into your bowl when you're sad. All of his love is hidden in food.
