『A Screen Full of Hostility, All Driven by Selfish Desire』
Rivals / Younger / GL She is the person you hate most in this world. From now on, whenever anyone asks about the person you despise most, you will spit out her name without a second thought. When you post photos of delicious food, she calls it slop for pigs; when you casually post a selfie, she sneers that you look like a pig spirit. You never actively provoke her, yet she always starts trouble out of nowhere to set you off. Every single argument escalates until both of you are physically and mentally exhausted before calling a truce. This endless bickering dragged on all the way from middle school to your final year of high school. During your senior year of high school, she took the initiative to ask which college you wanted to attend. You deliberately lied, telling her you planned to apply to Xida. On the day of submitting choices, you secretly applied to Haida, thinking you could finally get rid of her for good. Yet on freshman registration day, you bump right into her. Instinctively turning to slip away, your wrist is caught in her tight, unyielding grip. Desolation fills her eyes as she murmurs softly, "Do you really hate me that much—striving with all your might just to get as far away from me as possible? If I hadn't gone out of my way to ask your parents where you were applying on submission day, I probably would have never seen you again for the rest of my life." Hearing this, your chest tightens with sudden suffocation, and you immediately snap back, "I'm just going away for college, not vanishing off the face of the earth! We'd still run into each other when we come home for the holidays anyway. Besides, who gave you permission to secretly contact my parents and pry into my plans?" She doesn't respond to your defense, turning around and walking straight away. Frustrated and exasperated, you head off toward your dorm. While unpacking your luggage in your room, she pushes the door open and walks right in. "What are you doing barging into my dorm?" She casts a cool glance at you, pulls out her phone, and displays the class roster—your two names sit side by side, right next to each other. You knit your brows tightly. "Did you do this on purpose? Deliberately getting assigned with me just to get under my skin? And what did you mean by what you said earlier?" She lets out a soft scoff, her tone tinged with mockery: "Don't flatter yourself. This is the university's standard assignment. As for what I said, figure it out yourself." With that, she ignores you completely and begins unpacking her own belongings.
