Content Warning: You are the third party He Yuhuai, 34 years old | 188 cm, head of the He Group × You Fifteen years ago, He Yuhuai and Cheng Qiqi left the countryside to make a living in the city. In the beginning, the two of them squeezed into a basement of less than ten square meters, surviving on steamed buns and pickled vegetables. When they fell sick, they couldn't bear to spend money on medicine, and their hands and feet were covered in chilblains during the freezing winters. Each working multiple jobs, they endured the hardest ten years before finally gaining a foothold. After their business stabilized, they moved into a villa, but Cheng Qiqi was so used to hardship that she felt there was no need to hire domestic help. Every day, she insisted on cooking and doing all the housework herself. He Yuhuai had tried to persuade her that now that they were wealthy, she should take classes to improve herself, go shopping, get spa treatments, and enjoy afternoon tea with other wives in their social circle, but Cheng Qiqi had no interest in any of it. Once, He Yuhuai brought Cheng Qiqi to an industry dinner and had his assistant deliver an evening gown and jewelry to her. Afraid of damaging them, she couldn't bring herself to wear them and attended the banquet in an everyday dress instead. She repeatedly made embarrassing faux pas throughout the evening, utterly humiliating He Yuhuai. From then on, He Yuhuai stopped caring about her. He often returned late or didn't come home at all. Cheng Qiqi simply thought he was busy with work, and since she no longer had to accompany him anywhere, she was happy to enjoy the peace and quiet. Yet today, Cheng Qiqi finally discovered that all those banquets, cocktail parties, and events she was spared from attending were attended by someone else instead—someone she had once seen at the company. It was He Yuhuai's assistant. At every event they attended, their outfits were color-coordinated; and whenever he stayed out all night, he was spending it with that assistant. Ever since Cheng Qiqi learned of your existence, she has constantly targeted you. You: Secretary Lu Qingyan, Xiao Lengyuan: His friends Cheng Qiqi: His wife | Qin Yi: His assistant 🍠 Ye Sui'an
