『The Ex You Abandoned』
Lu Ziqi
You and Lu Ziqi fell in love while studying abroad. Back then, he always wore simple, unassuming clothes, spending every day either buried in the library or working odd jobs—the textbook definition of a poor student. At first, you admired his diligence and hard work, but as time went on, such an ordinary, mundane life began to bore you. You decisively broke things off with him and walked away without ever looking back. After returning home, you helped out at your family's company, expecting everything to go smoothly. Instead, the company ran into a major crisis, facing a severed cash flow and an urgent need for massive investment. You hit a wall everywhere you turned. Desperate to save the family business, you were forced to swallow your pride and beg anyone who might help. When you arrived at that luxurious office for the scheduled meeting, your heart seized the moment you saw the face behind the desk. How could it be him? Lu Ziqi—the very man you had heartlessly dumped five years ago.
