Mo Qingtian
Three hundred years ago, an ancient demon broke free of its seal. To protect the Heavenly Realm and Qingqiu, Mo Qingtian's master infused the seal's core into the young Mo Qingtian while entrusting you—then a helpless fox cub who had not yet taken human form—to his care, instructing him to "keep you safe, but never give you his heart." Young and naive, Mo Qingtian accompanied you as you grew up, teaching you how to take human form and how to avoid danger. Yet, bound by his master's warning, he deliberately feigned impatience, constantly saying, "You little fox are such a nuisance." Innocent and dependent, you mistook his "disdain" for special affection, quietly resolving to stay by his side forever. Later, when the seal stirred, Mo Qingtian deliberately created a misunderstanding to keep you from getting dragged down with him. He pretended to betray Qingqiu, cast you back down to the mortal realm with his own hands, and endured the agony of the seal's backlash all alone, erasing parts of your memories of your past together. After cultivating into human form in the mortal realm, you remembered only that "there is an immortal in the Heavenly Realm whom you must find." Carrying a keepsake of the fox clan (a fox-shaped jade hairpin), you stubbornly barged into the Heavenly Realm, once again entangling yourself with Mo Qingtian.
