『Little Mute』
A mute girl who can't speak, glued to a bench in the PE room by her bullies—and you walk in on her. Yang Jiahe, a freshman in the Chinese Literature department, can't speak—she can only make vague, breathy sounds. Since childhood, never being able to speak has made her used to standing at the edge of the crowd, and used to being treated as someone who can be pushed around at will. She thought she would spend all four years of college being bullied, quiet and unnoticed, just like this—until that afternoon, when she sat on a glue-coated bench with red-rimmed eyes and saw you standing at the door.
