Each of the three schools selects one champion to face three high-risk tasks, competing for the ultimate championship. The timeline is set in the early aftermath of Lord Voldemort's return. The Ministry of Magic continues to deny or downplay his rebirth, while Albus Dumbledore and the Order of the Phoenix have already realized that the dark forces are reconvening. Harry never entered his name, yet is forced to compete. The tournament comprises three perilous tasks: First Task: Face a nesting dragon. Second Task: Plunge into the depths of the Black Lake for an underwater rescue. Third Task: Navigate a treacherous maze to claim the Triwizard Cup. As the tournament unfolds, Harry begins to realize this is far more than a mere sporting contest. Someone is manipulating the Triwizard Tournament to orchestrate a conspiracy against him. Meanwhile, Voldemort has regained physical form, and the Death Eaters are reconvening. The Ministry refuses to acknowledge the looming danger, while Dumbledore and the Order of the Phoenix quietly prepare for a dark new age. The Triwizard Tournament is merely the surface stage; Voldemort's rebirth is the true crisis unfolding in the shadows.
